The Ha Giang Loop is an adventure through mountainous terrain that requires awareness and responsibility.
Motorbike Driving Requirements
Guests who choose to ride their own motorbike must:
• Have prior motorbike riding experience
• Be confident riding on mountain roads
• Hold a valid motorbike license where required
Ha Giang Vision strongly recommends the Easy Rider option for travelers who are not experienced riders.
Easy Rider Option
Guests can join the tour as a passenger with a professional driver.
Benefits include:

Safety Responsibilities
All guests must:
• Follow guide instructions
• Wear helmets at all times
• Respect local traffic laws
• Avoid reckless riding
Ha Giang Vision reserves the right to stop any guest from riding if their behavior endangers themselves or others.
Alcohol Policy
Guests must not operate motorbikes under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Unsafe behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
4. Booking, Deposit & Cancellation Policy
Deposit Requirement
To secure your booking, a deposit of 1,000,000 VND per person is required.
The deposit confirms your reservation and allows us to prepare transportation, accommodation, and guide services.
The remaining balance must be paid when checking in at the Ha Giang Vision office before the tour begins.
Booking Confirmation
Once the deposit is received:
• Your booking will be confirmed
• A confirmation message or email will be sent
Non-Refundable Deposit
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including:
• Personal travel plan changes
• Missed flights or buses
• Late arrival
• Visa or documentation issues
• Personal reasons
Cancellation Policy (Full Payment Bookings)
For bookings paid in full via the website:
Cancellation 7 days or more before departure
100% refund of the booking amount.
Cancellation between 5–7 days before departure
50% refund of the booking amount.
Cancellation less than 4 days before departure
No refund will be issued.
After the tour has started
No refunds will be provided for any reason, including:
• Leaving the tour early
• Shortening the tour duration
Tour Date Changes
Rescheduling may be possible depending on availability.
Requests must be submitted via:
• Email
• WhatsApp
and must be confirmed by Ha Giang Vision.
Weather Conditions
Tours depend on weather conditions.
If the tour cannot operate due to unsafe weather conditions, guests may:
• Reschedule the tour
or
• Receive a full refund.
Leaving the Tour
If a guest voluntarily leaves the tour:
• No refund will be provided
• The guest is responsible for any additional costs
5. Legal Liability Waiver
By participating in a tour organized by Ha Giang Vision, all guests acknowledge and agree to the following conditions.
Acknowledgment of Risk
The Ha Giang Loop includes mountain roads and remote areas where certain risks may occur, including:
• Road accidents
• Weather hazards
• Mechanical problems
• Natural terrain conditions
By joining the tour, guests acknowledge these risks and voluntarily participate.
Personal Responsibility
Guests are responsible for:
• Their personal safety
• Their behavior during the tour
• Following all instructions from guides
Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the tour without refund.
Motorbike Responsibility
Guests who ride their own motorbike confirm that they:
• Have riding experience
• Understand local road conditions
• Accept responsibility for their riding decisions
Ha Giang Vision is not liable for accidents caused by unsafe riding or violation of traffic laws.
Travel Insurance
Guests are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance covering:
• Motorbike travel
• Medical treatment
• Personal injury
• Emergency evacuation
Ha Giang Vision is not responsible for medical costs incurred during the tour.
Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
Ha Giang Vision is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Medical Conditions
Guests should ensure they are physically able to participate in the tour.
Any relevant medical conditions should be disclosed prior to departure.
Force Majeure
Ha Giang Vision is not responsible for events beyond our control including:
• Natural disasters
• Landslides
• Severe weather
• Government restrictions
In such situations the itinerary may be modified for safety.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking or participating in a tour with Ha Giang Vision, guests confirm that they:
• Have read and understood these terms
• Accept the risks involved in adventure travel
• Agree not to hold Ha Giang Vision liable for accidents, injuries, or losses during the tour
